Chris’ list: Most outrageous tax write-offs

In the spirit of Tax Day, H&R Block gave us a list of some of the more unique tax write-offs that have been approved by the IRS. Here they are:

• Clarinet lessons, if medically necessary to correct an overbite

• “Posing oil,” the oil bodybuilders slather on during competition (a business expense!)

• Breast implants, a business expense for exotic dancers

• Organic food, it it’s medically necessary

• Pets who are service animals
